Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is a Central Government infrastructure initiative aimed at developing future Greenfield industrial cities as "Smart Cities" and converging next-generation smart hi-tech technologies.
A total of 24 industrial nodes are identified across the DMIC out of which 6 nodes as enumerated below fall within the State of Gujarat which comprises of total 62% total area of Gujarat getting major benefits from this project. The DMIC project is intended to provide the major road connectivity in the Gujarat region among various important cities of Gujarat.
